Each receives an environmental “e-coat” for corrosion protection, along with a powder topcoat to help protect against damaging UV rays. The GX hitch is designed to mount behind the rear bumper so only the receiver tube is viewed, ensuring that ground clearance is not reduced. The GX hitch also works in conjunction with the aerodynamic underbody covers, which help reduce noise and improve fuel economy.
